New Version of NoMachine App for iOS and Android available

NoMachine has announced the release of a major update to its Android and iOS app. The latest version launches the new native mobile interface specifically for smaller displays effectively transforming mobile phones into more powerful computing machines by allowing them to remotely connect to any NoMachine-enabled Mac, Windows, Linux and Raspberry server to stream multi-media files, view and edit documents, provide remote support to friends, transfer files and more.

“Previous versions of the NoMachine app were suitable for iPads and tablets, but with this important software update more Android and iOS users are now able to take advantage of what NoMachine has to offer as a remote desktop tool”, said Gaspare Tripi, General Manager, NoMachine. “We are committed to providing all of our customers with an exceptional experience and with the release we are announcing today users of iPhone and Android smartphone clients are now included.”

NoMachine is ideal for professionals, who want to travel light, but still access all their computer files on the go, or a home user that just wants the peace of mind knowing that their files and photos are safe on their own PC or Mac, but available with a tap or click from anywhere in the world.

Version 6.1.9 aligns the NoMachine app for mobile with the desktop version for PC and Mac and also includes numerous bug fixes. For a complete list of the enhancements and fixes released, please consult the release notes.
